Royal Legendary Belgian Ale

This month has been a quiet one on the ol' blog -- reason being that it has been a quiet one beer wise for me. There is one thing, though, that is worth mentioning. Julie and I took a small three day Royal Caribbean cruise with some friends. We expected the beer selection to be slim pickin's on the boat. However, that was not necessarily the case. Royal Caribbean has their own beer brewed in Belgium just for their cruise line, called Royal Legendary Belgian Ale. It was quite good.

I looked it up when we got home and found this review, claiming that it was something on the order of a Belgian Wit. It was not. In fact, it was more like a Belgian Pale Ale.

We were all pretty excited about the beer and drank our fair share on the boat. It simply made the cruise that much more interesting.
